Worship is our priority. Jesus tells us that the greatest commandment is to
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and
with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37
We express this love for God by meeting together each Sunday for worship. Our meetings are Holy Spirit led.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” John 4:23, 24
Such worship is meant to be personal and intimate to equip and strengthen us for the coming week.
We also worship in our midweek small groups and other times when we gather together.
Worship involves the heart, the mind, the will and indeed the whole life. We aim to live our lives in a way that is not only pleasing to God but also shows His love for all men and women.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1
