schools work

We are privileged to be asked into local schools to support them in their work with young people.  We have the common aim of helping young people developing to their full potential as human beings and becoming fully functioning members of society.

Primary Schools

Assemblies
For many years teams from RMCF have taken part in Assemblies. This is an important time in the school day and we trust that the children will remember the good news of Jesus that the teams share with them.

RE Lessons
Learning is interactive and members of RMCF go into local schools to discuss with the children such topics as 'What Easter Means To Me', 'Why I Am A Christian' or 'What I Think About The Bible'. A learning experience on both sides!

Talk Rely Understand Support Trust

This group meets as part of the Academy's Extended Day Programme and when students can choose an extra curricula group to attend.  It aims to encourage the students to discuss some of the more meaningful issues of life.

SenSeS Youth Bar

We are working in partnership with the Marsh Academy to use the SenSeS Youth Bar for students who are at risk of exclusion.  They are able to come along, with a member of the Academy's staff, to use the facilities as part of the Extended Day Programme.

We are very grateful to Connexions and KCC for their continued support of our Youth Work.  Without their support some of our projects would not be possible.
