Anugrah Children's Centre

Anugrah is the home of Dr Ila Paul
and around 50 children from
the town of Ambernath.

For over 10 years Ila has opened her home to these children, who are either orphans or whose parents cannot support them due to illness or extreme financial hardship.

The children all attend school, either on site, or for the older ones at the local secondary school.

Anugrah School

A larger school has now been built on ground next to the Children’s Home which enables more children from local villages to be educated. There are now some 170 children attending the school.

 Anugrah Minibus

The young people of RMCC raised money
for a mini-bus, which is now used to bring
younger children to school onsite and also transport the older children to their school across town.

Future plans include increasing the dormitories to allow for further children to be taken in. Also to build a hostel for working girls over 18 years of age.

RMCC has helped support Anugrah for some years and it is a joy to see the progress that has been made. We also acknowledge the great support from the people of Romney Marsh.
